12月16/17日托福考情 | 原题频出，且学术讨论写作是官方样题！

12月托福考试进入倒计时，16日17日考试之后就仅剩20日、26日两场啦🔈！

关于上周末两场托福考试，除了总绕不过的原题：

还有16日的学术讨论写作是官方样题，“交通类话题”此前遇到的也不少，重在对每类题型要有清晰的逻辑链梳理（澜大托福写作老师们每篇范文之前的必有步骤）‼17日虽然是新题，但也是常考的“环境类话题”。

01独立口语

2023年12月16日：

People should only engage in activities or hobbies they are good at or talented in.

思路解析

答法一：agree

理由①：如果他们在这一方面有天赋的话，会表现得更好，产出更多的结果——比如效率更高，能够快速地习得一项技能。

表达关键词：

to have a better performance; to yield good returns; to have a higher efficiency while they are involved in the acitivities; skill acquisition/to acquire a skill faster；

理由②：因为擅长所以会让学生们更加自信，更加有兴趣，做起来更加有动力，更加轻松。

表达关键词：

to have motivation and passion; There is a driving force/Talents are incentive and essential to drive people to... ; to be more confident and inspiring.

答法二：disagree

理由①：如果参加一些自己不擅长的活动，可以学习拓宽自己的知识面、学习新事物、离开自己的舒适区。

表达关键词：

to broaden our knowledge/horizon; to improve our cognitive level; to think outside the box/to get out of your comfort zone

理由②：可以培养自己不同的能力和品格——比如忍耐力和勇气，毅力，即使我不擅长这个活动但是我也可以做好。

2023年12月17日：

It is better for students to live with a roommate who is studying the same subject.

思路解析

答法一：agree

理由①：可以互相帮助，提高学习效率——如果室友自己上类似的课程，那么当在作业中碰到问题时，可以互相询问，而不是一个人在晚上查资料。

理由②：有助于增进友谊——如果室友和自己上相同的课程，那么我们会有更多一起相处的时间，比如一起拼车上课，或者一起去图书馆学习等。

表达关键词：

答法二：disagree

理由①：会产生心理压力——如果室友和自己上同样的课程，当我们发现对方的成绩比自己高时，可能会产生焦虑的情绪，导致内卷。

理由②：如果室友和自己上的课不一样，我们可以学到更多知识——如果我上的是工程类课程，而我的室友都是艺术类课程，那我可以在和室友的相处中接触我上课时接触不到知识。

Let's think about population trends in urban and rural areas (villages). Living in urban areas can be expensive; nonetheless, when they have a choice of where to live, people in some countries do not wish to live in rural areas even if the cost of living there is lower. If governments of some countries want to attract more people to live in rural areas or villages, what is the best strategy or approach that governments can use? Why?

I would live in a rural area if the government gave more financial help to farmers. Although it may cost very little to live in a rural area, it costs a lot to begin a career in agriculture. If I had financial help, I would start my own farm and be happy to live in a rural area.

In my country, urban centers are great places to live because you can access shops, restaurants, and museums. If the government of my country wanted to attract me to live in a rural area, the area would first have to attract more businesses focused on entertainment and culture than most rural areas have now.

思路解析

1. 看完题目后，排除两位同学已选择的大方向，确定自己新的立场：改善公共交通。

2. 详细展开：

公共交通更便利 -> 减少通勤时间 -> 由于生活成本更低，同等出行时间内更远的乡村地区会被考虑到 -> 乡村地区会有更多人。
