一、2026年8月12日托福口语考情回顾

Listen and Repeat：

第一套：Clothing Store场景

1. The women's clothing section is this way.

2. Our men's corner has shirts, trousers, and jackets.

3. Our accessories are on display near the entrance.

4. Fitting rooms are available here for trying on clothes.

5. The checkout for payment is by the exit when you're ready.

6. Ask the store associates if you need help locating specific items.

7. If you get lost, check the store map for the layout and location of departments.

第二套：botanical garden场景

1. Water the trees daily to help them grow.

2. Add nutrients to the flower bed dirt.

3. Manage temperature and humidity inside the greenhouse.

4. Do not use chemicals near the pond to protect the creatures there.

5. Recycle waste in the compost pile to create rich soil.

6. After you finish gardening, put the tools in the shed so others can use them.

7. When guests arrive, show them to the visitor center to learn about the garden.

Q1. Thank you for joining the study. Today, I'd like to ask you some questions about your education experiences. First, which do you think is more important for a college: offering a wide variety of courses or having small class sizes?

Q2. I see. Imagine that you are preparing for a test. Would you prefer to study by yourself or with the group? What would make you choose one over the other?

Q3. Interesting. Some people believe that online courses offer more flexibility and accessibility compared to those offered in traditional classroom settings, and are therefore superior. What are your thoughts on this? Do you agree or disagree? Why?

Q4. Good points. Lastly, online courses are becoming increasingly popular, and there are now full-degree programs offered by universities, where every class is available online only. Do you think online learning will someday completely replace in-person learning? Explain your thoughts.

Which do you think is more important for a college: offering a wide variety of courses or having small class sizes?

方向1：小班授课更重要，师生互动充足、老师能针对性答疑，学习质量和吸收效率远优于大班教学。

方向2：丰富课程种类更重要，学生可跨领域探索，发掘兴趣、拓宽视野，适配多元化发展需求。

范文：

From my perspective, small class sizes are far more essential for college education than a wide range of optional courses. The core purpose of university study is to absorb professional knowledge and improve critical thinking, which highly relies on effective teacher-student interaction. In small-sized classes, professors can keep track of every student’s learning progress, identify their weaknesses and provide personalized guidance. Students are also more willing to raise questions, share opinions and participate in group discussions instead of staying passive. By contrast, large lecture classes barely offer individual feedback, even if the school provides numerous fancy courses. Without targeted interaction and supervision, students can hardly gain in-depth learning, so small classes lay a solid foundation for high-quality education.

When was your last shopping experience, what did you buy, how did it make you feel

方向1：上周网购日常休闲服饰，款式质量符合预期，买到刚需好物，收获满满的满足感与愉悦感。

方向2：几天前线下超市采购生活用品和食材，补足日常物资，内心踏实安稳，但采购过程略显疲惫。

范文：

My most recent shopping experience took place last week when I purchased several pieces of casual daily clothing on a mainstream online shopping platform. Before placing the order, I carefully compared different styles, checked detailed product descriptions and read a large number of customer reviews to ensure the quality and fitness of the items. A few days later, the package arrived in good condition. When I tried on the clothes, I found that their texture, size and appearance fully met my expectations, even better than I had imagined. This pleasant shopping experience brought me great satisfaction and positive mood. Meanwhile, I also felt happy because I only bought daily necessities instead of making impulsive and wasteful purchases.
